In today's world internet plays a vital role in our daily life. We can't think a moment without internet isn't it ? Now Think about those days when there was no internet, people use to deliver their massage by means of some messenger or pigeon there were no proper connectivity among the peoples of different parts of a country or world . These are unbelievable right.But these are true .If we think of those days we feel thankful to the almighty that we born to this era of 21st century ,we chose our daily routine, we can chose latest fashionable dresses and many more within an instant from internet .
Now the question comes in our mind that "WHAT WAS THAT REASON /MOMENT FOR WHICH PEOPLE FEEL THE NEED OF INTERNET??"or "WHAT WAS THE ROOT OF INTERNET ?" So, in this blog I am going to describe the brief history of internet .
The main reason for which the Internet comes into play was the COLD WAR .
In 70s the cold war was in its peak and the America and Russia were in the Nuclear Attack target.By keep this terrible situation in mind America was thinking of an alternate solution for such attack , because in such attacks a deadly nuclear radiation spreads through out the entire region of attack in such condition its become very difficult or impossible for the commander or captain to send important information to their soldier or their govt , for that reason America thought about an alternate plan .In this plan they proposed that all the computer should connect each other by means of some under ground cable by which any information can be delivered stored and monitored from any where across the country by the authorized personals , american government also proposed that there should no head office for this because there should not be any trouble for fetching data if any of the connected system fails to work.
After the successful approval of the proposal the ARPA (Advanced Research Project Agency ) was appointed to complete the project . After lots of joint researches and hard work by ARPA and and govt of America the project were developed finally .
Like today the internet was not known as Internet, it was known to be ARPANET and the official computers were connected to that.In early 90s the COLD WAR was about to end and there was no sign of Nuclear Attack on America .By keeping this on mind the American government decided to hand over the holy invention to NSF(National Science Foundation ) and American govt declared this network as public network . In 90s the Arpanet got its modified name as INTERNET with which we are familiar today.
Till 1990 there was no website or domain in internet ,all the computer in that time were connected by means of LAN(LOCAL AREA NETWORK) ,for fetching the required data we we had to know that in which computer that particular data is present. This ambiguity did not last long in early 1991 when Tim Berners Lee invented WWW and connected the internet with a domain. His invention brought a revolution in the field of Internets and computers .

Now you will ask me "WHO IS THE OWNER OF INTERNET??"
and my answer will be NONE and most precisely one who uses internet is the owner of the internet this sounds to be crazy right but its true and i will give you the reason behind that.As described earlier that the internet was invented by the public sectors of America like defense sector and public research universities and they doesn't care about such business because they are govt funded organisations.
